  YULIANA CUADROS Yuliana is 8 and attends second grade of elementary school. She lives with her mother and two teenage brothers. Her 15-year old brother left their home because of his drug consumption problem. Yuliana was remitted to Casa Maren from Welfare after being a victim of sexual harassment. She receives psychological assistance on a regular basis. Yuliana’s mother works distributing commercial flyers in the streets of Medellin. Because she has to work long hours, her children do not receive proper attention. As result of this, Yuliana was a problematic child. Yuliana is very happy being part of Casa Maren. She enjoys the company of her classmates and teacher who she considers her own family. She likes to play during her spare time and wants to be a teacher when she grows up. “I like the activities that the teachers give us in Casa Maren. I like it here because they are very nice with me"
