In December, we held our traditional Christmas celebration in the Manrique neighborhood. During the event, we distributed food baskets to 100 families and provided new clothes and toys to more than 150 children. The families and children expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing their affection and joy as they felt welcomed, valued, and cared for by our foundation. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone whose generosity and support made this meaningful celebration possible.
Throughout 2025, we reaffirmed our commitment to caring for every child in our foundation with dedication, love, and devotion. It was a year filled with joy for both the children and our staff, who cherished each moment spent nurturing, protecting, and supporting them in Poder Joven’s homes—while helping shield them from the risks present in the environments where they live.
In August, we celebrated the Antioquia Fair in Poder Joven’s homes. Antioquia is the region where Medellín, its capital city, is located, and the celebration offered a meaningful opportunity to honor our traditions and share the richness of Antioquian culture with our children. We taught them about the origins of these traditions and encouraged them to preserve the most positive aspects of the Antioquian spirit—especially solidarity and the resilience to overcome adversity.
In the month of May, we invited the children’s families to enjoy a joyful afternoon of music, prizes, and fun. We know how important it is to work closely with the children’s immediate families, as this is where the learning and behaviors originate. For this reason, we strive to educate parents about the need to serve as positive role models for the proper development of their children’s personalities.
