School kits

We delivered 130 school kits to all the children served by Poder Joven. Although significant, this is just a small part of the comprehensive educational support we provide to our children every year to ensure their success.

Learning to knit

Thanks to the support of a committed volunteer, children served by the foundation are learning to knit wool scarfs. Although the main purpose is that children develop fine motor skills, this could open the doors for a source of income for their families.

Meeting people with disabilities

In February, a group of physically disable people visited our foundation to share their live stories and challenges as well as their goals and achievements. We believe that this exchange of experiences was a motivation for the children to be sensitive and respectful with everyone despite their physical or mental limitations.

Our commitment is to promote awareness about diversity and see the good in everyone to improve interpersonal relationships.

DIGITAL NEWSLETTER – APRIL 2026

At Poder Joven, we seek the holistic well-being of our children; for this reason, we offer them activities designed to develop their cognitive and social skills. However, the nutritional support we provide daily is no less important. At our facilities, we serve a total of 230 meals per day (5,060 full meals each month). This nutritional support enables our kids to enjoy the activities we offer and helps them concentrate more easily during the academic reinforcement sessions.

For this reason, we strive to educate parents about the need to serve as positive role models for the proper development of their children’s personalities.
