After 14 years of dedicated work, persistence, and optimism, Poder Jóven serves more than 130 children through two operative centers in Medellín. Without the assistance provided by Poder Joven Foundation, these children would tend to abandon their homes and become street people and/or would join local delinquent groups in the city. Children are daily provided with education, food, medical and psychological assistance, and most importantly affection.
